ALL ABOUT ME
With over ten years of professional experience, I have discovered that I am most energized by roles that combine problem-solving, creativity, and empathy, the same qualities at the heart of UX design. Having completed UX design certificates at both Southern Methodist University and Flatiron School, I am now completing a Masters degree in Human-Computer Interaction Design at City St. Georges, University of London.
I grew up in Dallas, TX and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a BS in Business Administration. From there I worked as an Ad Operations Coordinator for the Dallas Observer, Marketing Coordinator for the W Hotel Dallas, and most recently as the Marketing and Events Manager at Fashion Industry Gallery. While working at the hotel, I started to realize I really wanted to find a position where I could combine empathy gained while traveling, with my love for puzzles and creativity. I came across UX one day and it seemed like a perfect combination of these three things so that’s when I started my education in the field.
Outside of work I love: travel, a Diet Coke break, concerts, fresh flowers, hunting down the best margarita in town, and hanging out with my cat Kiwi
